TEDxSquareMile is the TEDx event for The City of London hosted this year at the City Of London School, next to London’s iconic Millennium Bridge and nearby St Paul’s Cathedral. TEDxSquareMile is the TEDx event for The City of London. For the first time, on November 4th, TEDxSquareMile will be TEDxSquareMileWomen.
TEDxSquareMileWomen will be a half-day livestream viewing party of the TEDWomen 2017 conference.
What does this mean?
Just like TEDWomen we will be focusing the power of women and girls to be creators and change-makers.
How will we do this?
We are going to have a TEDWomen 2017 livestream viewing party where you will have a chance to watch some of the TEDWomen 2017 talks before everyone else (before TED release them on their website and on youtube) and get to interact with the rest of the audience during our breakout sessions.
TEDWomen 2017 theme is Bridges with below the short description you can find from the official website
“We build them, we cross them, and sometimes we even burn them… at TEDWomen 2017, we will explore the many aspects of this year’s theme: Bridges, through curated TED Talks.
At this time of deep divides and rising global challenges, we will hear TED Talks from entrepreneurs, innovators, artists and activists, thought leaders from business and civil society—bridge builders from around the world.”
Have a look here for the full lineup of speakers from TEDWomen 2017. Please note that only a subset of them will be streamed during this event as the full TEDWomen event last 3 days.
